Antique Maple & Co. London Burr Walnut Table | Carved Cabriole Legs

Beautiful antique burr walnut table by renowned British furniture maker Maple & Co., with the original Maple & Co. “By Royal Appointment” maker’s label underneath.
The standout feature is the highly figured burr walnut top, framed by a shaped/scalloped gallery edge and elaborate carved cabriole legs with foliate detailing and claw-style feet. The long rectangular proportions make it a really unusual statement piece that could work as an occasional table, side table, hall table or decorative accent table.
Maple & Co. was one of Britain’s prominent furniture and interior furnishing firms and supplied royal households, including receiving royal appointments during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This piece is being sold in as-found antique condition and does have age-related wear and damage. There is damage/separation to portions of the raised gallery edge and a leg/joint that requires attention. Please review all photos carefully. I have left it unrestored rather than attempting repairs that a collector or furniture restorer may prefer to handle themselves.
Despite the condition, the burr walnut figuring, detailed carving and original Maple & Co. label and royal appointment makes this a much more interesting investment piece rather than a generic reproduction.
